On this Monday starting from 08:00 we'll cleaning out deleted messages from the PM database table, and because of the massive size of the table this can take many hours.

We'll be cleaning out a bit over 11,000,000 PMs, and depending on how long the first clean-out takes we might also remove all PMs sent from PI that are over a month old and located in your inbox.

We expect this to take 3 to 4 hours but we'll of course do everything we can to speed it up. We rather want to clean out the database this way then to do it in the background for a few weeks since that would slow down the whole site for a long time.

We're sorry for any inconvenience.

Just deleted PMs will be cleaned out so it won't affect any PMs you have in you folders. With exception of the PI sent messages that are stored in your inbox. :smile
