As we've recently lost a number of valued members of our moderating team, we're currently a little short staffed. We're therefore looking for new team members! Are you one of them? Read more to find out!
We're looking for team players, 16 years or older who spend quite a lot of time on PI and are interested in a thankless and often tough position. Being a moderator requires a vast knowledge of PI's community, rules and regulations and a true interest in helping your fellow players. You need to be an active member of the community, preferably spend a few hours on PI most days and have decent written English. You should also be polite, friendly and helpful at all times. You can't have had any bans the last 6 months or any serious offenses older then that.
As a moderator you will often come across inappropriate and offensive material that is not suitable for younger users. For this reason, the age restriction of 16+ is not negotiable and not up for debate or discussion.
Moderators have strict confidentiality rules, and they're expected to behave as a moderator in all PI related activities, so it's not a position that should be accepted lightly or without afterthought. Your time spent on PI will no longer truly be your own if you're accepted as you'll have a number of new responsibilities and demands.
However, it's not only work, we do have a great little team who laugh off the hard bits together.

You will not receive any answer to your application unless you're chosen or there are any questions regarding it. | So we do need to reapply if we have applied before, correct? Just wanted to make sure. I know last time it said that you guys keep the applications for the next time you are looking for MODs, but I didn't see that mentioned here. So I just wanted to see if I should reapply. Krystal and Vitty, you would both make wonderful MODs! I'm somewhat surprised you have had to reapply, you are both really helpful and encouraging to everyone, and very well articulated.
